Frequently asked questions

1.      Do I need a referral to see you?
        No

2.      Will my Private Medical Insurance cover your fees?
         No

3.      Can I see you to arrange a referral to a Specialist even though you are not
         my G.P?
         Yes

4.      Will my G.P automatically be informed of my results?
         No, unless you require us to do so.

5.      How soon can I expect the medical report and results after the assessment?
         Normally within 7 days although some medical forms are completed and
         retuned on the day of assessment.

6.      Can anyone come to the weight loss clinic?
         Yes. If you are concerned about your weight and you know that your Body
         Mass Index is greater than 25, this would be appropriate for you.

7.      How quickly can I see the G.P at home?
         Normally within 24 hours. Please note that this is not an emergency service.

8.      Can anyone come to the Cardiac Clinic or do I need to have a pre existing
         problem?

         Anyone can attend the clinic. If you are worried about the possibility of a
         heart problem, you would be a suitable candidate.

9.      Can I see you even if I have Botox or other cosmetic procedures elsewhere?
         Yes

10.    How soon can I have my next Botox injection?
         Normally need to defer at least 3 months from last session.

11.    How long do the dermal fillers last?
        6-9 months but repeat treatments last longer.

12.    Regarding the Botox for excessive sweating, how long does the treatment last?
