Occupational Health We are working with a variety of organisations to address their occupational health needs. We have become involved with companies for a variety of reasons. Some just want to offer their employees a health benefit like an annual health screen, whilst others have problems with sick leave costing the organisation loss of time and money. Whatever your needs, please call or email us to discuss them.
The following are the options available:
Level One 1. Pre-employment checks
These screening checks can highlight any ‘at risk behaviour’ which could lead to problems for your company; for example an employee who consumes too much alcohol or takes drugs. Our pre-employment checks include a full drug & alcohol screen.
2. Annual basic health assessment
This check up comprises a 30 minute consultation with a doctor assessing the following areas:
Level Two This level of occupational health support has the following features:
1. Pre-employment checks as outlined in Level One 2. Annual full health assessment
This comprehensive check up comprises a one hour consultation with the doctor. It includes examination of all areas mentioned in the basic health assessment, plus:
- Blood tests for diabetes, cholesterol levels, kidney function, liver function and full blood count.
- The employee will then receive a full report of the health assessment.
3. Private G.P. access
The employee will be able to contact the doctor who performed the health screen, and access advice over the phone or via email at any time (Please note this service is not for true emergencies).
Level Three All features outlined in Level Two with the addition of:
- The company sick leave appraisal & trouble shooting frame work introduction into the work place.
Our lead G.P. will work with your HR department to implement our sick leave policy, and monitor your sick leave figures monthly. Employees phoning in sick will have to speak to the doctor. The advantage of the Level 3 option is that your company will benefit from full occupational health support. The employee experiences the health benefit, whilst sick leave is monitored to reduce unnecessary time off work.
